Self-talk. That’s It.

I personally struggled and still struggle with this one because it’s a simple concept, but it’s not easy to execute.

This is because we often innodate ourselves with negative thoughts rather than positive ones. You don’t realize how easy or often it is to say something bad or negative until you start consciously noting when you do. Once you do, you’ll realize how much you’re mentally sabotaging yourself.

You know that phrase, one step forward, two steps back? It’s kinda like that. More negative input than positive. And which direction does that send you in…Exactly.

“Positive thinking is an emotional and mental attitude that focuses on the good and expects results that will benefit you.” -Tony Robbins

On the flip side, positive self-talk is like a magnet. Kaid has been practicing self-talk for a really long time and much of what he does has helped me on my journey as well.

He learned much of what he knows from Bob Proctor, who says…

“Thoughts become things. If you see it in your mind, you will hold it in your hand.”― Bob Proctor, You Were Born Rich

Daily affirmations, such as “I am joyful” or “I am patient” are powerful ways to reprogram your brain, just like Shad Helmstetter said in the quote earlier. Making these a daily practice will compound over time and help you restructure your mind to think more positively and more highly of yourself.

While he does daily affirmations, Kaid also has one phrase that he says to himself on a daily basis.

Not only has it kept him deeply focused on what his goals are, it has helped him physically manifest it in his life. It’s been really amazing to watch him these last 5 years and see that very phrase become reality.

The power of positive thinking should not be underestimated.

Practice positive thoughts, replace the negative ones, and hack your happiness.
