When in Doubt, Walk it Out
How my fiancé and I walked our way through quarantine and into entrepreneurship.
You know how some people have all their good ideas in the shower?
Well, that’s my fiancé, but it’s not what works for me. I’m more of a walk and think type of person personally. And thank goodness Kaid can have brain blasts in the shower and on walks! Especially when Covid-19 hit..
Kaid and I had been pretty intent on our fitness goals already, which helped with our motivation. So when we realized we would have very little besides our apartment and the neighborhood, we hit the streets.

At the beginning of covid, to combat being home all day long, we were making up for it in the afternoons with 3–6 mile walks every day. EVERY DAY!
It was refreshing, good for the soul, and kept our bodies active despite limited opportunities for a true workout.
As this has progressed from mid-March to now nearly November, Kaid and I have used those walks to fuel our company.
So many of our ideas, collaborations, discussions, and reviews have happened on those walks. They’ve been pivotal in many ideas that led to something great in the business.

On our walks, we’ve created hope, given hope, shared hope, expanded hope, and truly kept us hopeful even during a challenging year.
With covid, work, and well, 2020 in general, there are a lot of excuses for why you’re not achieving your goals this year. But I say, take a walk..
Take a walk, get some fresh air, rejuvenate your mind, stretch your legs and your mind, and use the time to reconnect with yourself and/or your family/partner.
I think you’d be surprised what comes to your mind when you give it 3–6 miles to walk and think..
Thank you for following along on our hope journey!
Bye for now,
